Children's party

January 23, 2015  •  Leave a Comment

Burnham on crouch may seem an out of the way place in Essex to hold a childs forth birthday party. However the event was a huge success for Isaac and his four year old friends.

It might be considered as a photographers nightmare but is was easy! With a tremendous variety of activities and food, all I did was enjoy myself photographing them all. I like to take lots of faces and I think I captured all the children at the party doing their "Bob the builder" tasks, feeding and playing together. It was a pure delight to put the photographs onto facebook for their proud parents to see. It certainly achieved one of the highest hit rates on my pages and parents were able to purchase prints through my website : " portwainphotography.zenfolio.com"

I'm looking forward to the next childrens party booking.

Wedding venues near Southend-on-Sea

As far as I can tell the venues make or even improve a wedding day.

Southend-on-sea registry office is functional and modest, whilst Windsor Guildhall is plush and luxurious. It's where Prince Charles married the lovely Camilla.

Rayleigh Windmill is small, cosy and quite unique but you have to appreciate how small it is to get the officials, photographer, parents, bridesmaids and best man , as well as the bride  & groom in there.

St Nicholas'  church, Laindon, Essex is one of the most charming churches in which to hold a wedding ceremony.

Burnham-on-Crouch has a magnificent wedding island set on a lake.

Half way house on the A127 near Dunton, Essex  provides a good setting with fine reception facilities and importantly good parking.

Hadleigh Essex Methodist church has good seating for a large number of guests and easy parking across the road ( A13)  in Morrisons car park with no worries over parking restrictions.

Castle Point District council offices in Thundersley, Essex offers a small venue with easy access to the A13 for travelling to the nearby reception venue.  Unfortunately the Hollywood in Shipwrights drive has closed down but there are lots of other similar reception places around the area with just as easy parking.

Saxon Hall in Southend-on-Sea has a dedicated reception and wedding room, newly built and refurbished. Its the meeting place for Southend masons and many Masonic, Probus and civic funtions are held there. Enormous parking area too.

Hullbridge free church offers a charming setting for weddings in that area. Although parking can be interesting its a lovely setting for a small church wedding, With an easy drive to receptions in the Rayleigh and Southend  areas.

All with easy access from South Benfleet, Hadleigh, Thundersley, Southend, Rayleigh, Hockley and Hullbridge, with the exception of Windsor of course.

I hope these opinions help. If so please get back to me and look at my website ; portwainphotography.zenfolio.com for your wedding photography.
